I love that this the shot my editor's picked as the cell phones in the frame is the main reason I shot it. They seem to have agreed that there was something special about this comment on the modern experience of concert going for both the artist and the fans and the new twist I came up with on the self referential setup we've seen before of a photographer photographing another photographer.

Boudoir for Boite

Downtown party maven Vula walking towards me in the club. Finding something interesting to shoot in a bar can be a pain. I was wracking my brain during this shoot and realized how awesome things looked in the this mirror and nailed what I think is a killer series of shots in this spot. The first thing my editor mentioned when she saw the take was this shot which was gratifying. She's got a great eye. This is one light with a very long exposure. I'm holding the flash off camera on a cord to my left.
